Abstract

Es ist dringend notwendig die Vergabe der Nobelpreise vor dem Hintergrund der Klimakrise neu zu evaluieren. Wie von Alfred Nobel festgeschrieben, soll der Preis Forschung würdigen, die im vergangenen Jahr der Menschheit den größten Nutzen gebracht hat. Dieser Text ist eine übersetzte und überarbeitete Fassung eines vom gleichen Autorenteam in Nature Physics publizierten Comment: Vollmer, D., Bednarz, R.JR., Seiffert, S. et al.
