ILWISPy is a Python package that aims to achieve more geo-processing with less coding by leveraging powerful geospatial computing and number crunching capabilities of the Integrated Land and Water Information System (ILWIS), which is a geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing software for both vector and raster processing. The package features a large number of operations supporting multiprocessing and raster images of unlimited size, which can be used for specialized analysis tasks such as temporal filtering and spatiotemporal tracking, as well as big data handling and preprocessing.
