</script>Este ensayo plantea que la verdad no es posible toda vez que la realidad no puede ser conocida, sino solamente aproximada. Lo más parecido que se tiene de la realidad es el acto mismo de pensar, toda vez que al mismo tiempo es un objeto y una aproximación: a este objeto y a esta aproximación se le ha denominado metáfora, por lo cual, se concluye, el pensamiento es de sustancia metafórica.
