RETOS Y HORIZONTES EN LA FORMACIÓN DE MAESTROS/AS DE LA EDUCACIÓN INTERCULTURAL BILINGÜE EN EL DEPARTAMENTO FIGUEROA (SANTIAGO DEL ESTERO)

Abstract

En Santiago del Estero habitan alrededor de 160.000 quichuahablantes, escenario que ha sido insuficientemente contemplado a nivel provincial en las políticas públicas de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe (EIB), a pesar de la consolidación de la modalidad a nivel nacional. En ese contexto, nos proponemos trabajar con el único Profesorado de Educación Primaria (PEP) con orientación en EIB de la provincia, ubicado en el Departamento Figueroa, Santiago del Estero. Perseguimos como objetivo explorar los retos en la formación de los/as futuros/as maestros/as de la EIB a través del análisis del diseño curricular de la carrera PEP y de los sentidos que ponen en movimiento los/as docentes del profesorado sobre esta modalidad. En el análisis realizado hallamos las diferentes respuestas que despliegan los/as docentes ante los retos de trabajar en el marco de la EIB en el contexto sociolingüístico de Santiago del Estero. Con esto buscamos aportar conocimiento sobre la incipiente ejecución de esta modalidad en el ámbito provincial. Para el trabajo de análisis se recuperan los aportes de la antropología de la educación en torno al estudio de los procesos educativos y la interculturalidad. Los registros analizados fueron recogidos a través de las Tecnologías de la información y la comunicación durante el 2021 y de entrevistas realizadas en el Departamento Figueroa en el mismo año.
