READ ME file to be used along with data files in Zenodo for the manuscript: Significance of Secondary Fe-Oxide and Fe-Sulfide Minerals in Upper Peak Ring Suevite from the Chicxulub Impact Structure Christina M. Verhagen, Ji-In Jung, Sonia M. Tikoo, Axel Wittmann, David A. Kring, Stefanie Brachfeld, Laying Wu, Dale H. Burns, Sean P. S. Gulick “Image” files include: Back scattered electron images (tiff, bmp, pdf) produced by scanning electron microscopy for figures 3, 5, 6 and 8 in the main manuscript. Images are labeled with the figure number and letter which corresponds to the main figure (e.g., Fig. 3a is the image shown in Figure 3-part a). “EDS” includes raw files (psmsa and xlsx) from energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy which were used to produce the spectral analysis shown in figures 4, 5 and 7. Data files are labeled with the figure number and letter which corresponds to the main figure (e.g., Fig. 4a is the data used to produce the spectra shown in Figure 4-part a). “WDS” file includes an xlsx table showing the wavelength dispersive spectroscopy generated elemental abundances for the Fe-sulfides shown in Figure 8b-d (same as in main text).
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
