HUBUNGAN ANTARA MINAT BELAJAR DENGAN KEMAMPUAN REASONING MATEMATIS MAHASISWA PADA MATA KULIAH GEOMETRI

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara minat belajar dengan kemampuan reasoning matematika mahasiswa pada mata kuliah geometri. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas IA Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar tahun akademik 2018/2019. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode kuesioner/angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan bantuan software SPSS for Windows v.20. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini antara lain: (1) minat belajar mahasiswa dengan kategori sangat berminat = 62,5%, berminat = 25%, dan cukup berminat = 12,5%. (2) Ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara minat belajar matematika dengan hasil belajar matematika dengan nilai rxy = 0,84 dan hasil uji (2-tailed) yang besarnya 0,027.
