Abstract

Since 2019, the Working Group on “Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for Geodetic Data Sets" of the Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS) is regularly meeting do discuss best practices for the consistent implementation of DOIs across all IAG Services and in the greater geodetic community. This slide deck, presented at the GGOS Days 2022, is addressing some questions behind the actual minting of DOIs. These are What does the minting of DOIs mean/ include? How does this help to make my data FAIR? What can I do to support this? What does the minting of DOIs mean/ include?
