As part of the UKRN workshops (UK Reproducibility Network), the project ELIXIR-UK DaSH co-hosted with them the one on FAIR data in the life sciences: beyond theory. Covering existing tools to implement FAIR principles tailored to a life sciences user with toolkits and step-by-step guides, the workshop also presented different training opportunities funded by the UKRI grants for FAIR Data Steward training. This presentation is the fourth workshop session, from the ELIXIR-UK DaSH project focused on building the grassroots of research data management communities of practice across research-performing organisations in the UK. The project's Community Manager presents their approach to influencing data stewardship development with a Fellowship, their challenges, solutions and outputs.
