L'impact de la réponse stratégique à la COVID-19 sur le changement organisationnel des établissements hôteliers : le cas de Marrakech

Abstract

La pandémie de COVID-19 a provoqué d’importantes perturbations des activités partout dans le monde, les voyages et le tourisme étant particulièrement touchés. En réponse, les gouvernements et les entreprises ont mis en œuvre des mesures drastiques pour réduire l’impact du virus et atténuer les pertes d’affaires correspondantes. Cette étude répond aux appels à la recherche sur l'impact dévastateur de la pandémie de Covid-19 sur l'industrie hôtelière en analysant les stratégies de gestion de crise utilisées dans les hôtels. Grâce à dix entretiens semi-structurés avec des cadres supérieurs d’hôtels à Marrakech, les participants ont pu comprendre le modèle de réponse et leurs perceptions des conséquences à long terme de ces réponses au COVID-19. La nature des réponses semble correspondre à celles des crises précédentes, avec quelques variations. Bien que les participants croyaient que les conséquences communes à long terme étaient la fermeture des entreprises, le développement des affaires et les améliorations opérationnelles. Sur la base de ces résultats, cette recherche propose un modèle de réponse stratégique et suggère des implications pratiques pour aider les gestionnaires d'hôtels à formuler des stratégies visant à créer une expérience client dans des conditions sûres.
