The hydrogeochemical studies was carried out and presented in this research paper. The study area is taken for this work is at the Kangayam Taluk, Tirupur District, South India. The 78 groundwater samples were collected in the region during December 2016. The samples were analyzed for various water quality parameters such as pH, Electric Conductivity, Total Hardness, major cations and Anions. The results were evaluated in detail and compared with WHO water quality standards. Groundwater element spatial maps such as pH, EC, TH, major cations (Ca, Mg, Na, K) and Anions (Cl, SO4, NO3, F) were integrated one over to another. The final integration (Figure 13) spatial map was classified as world health organization standard like ‘Permissible’ ‘Allowable’ and ‘Not permissible. Spatial distribution map of groundwater quality zones. It is also verified in the field. Regarding 177.25 sq.km areas represent Permissible and 251.68 sq.km area under allowable for drinking purposes based on WHO standard. These areas were located in the Hornblende biotite gneiss is not mixed any other rocks.
