Abstract

Experimental procedures for the preparation of Diethyl decanedioate Diethyl 3-oxododecanedioate Diethyl rac-3-hydroxydodecanedioate Diethyl (R)-3-hydroxydodecanedioate Diethyl(S)-3-hydroxydodecanedioate (R)-3-Hydroxydodecanedioic acid and (S)-3-hydroxydodecanedioic acid are reported. Data such as 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, Rf values, FT.IR, and HRMS data are reported. Copies of NMR spectra are provided. Mosher analyses of compounds are provided.
