Abstract

The dataset contains 504 human scent samples obtained by the instrumentation of two-dimension gas chromatography coupled with a Time-of-Flight mass spectrometer. 20 female (Codes F1-F20) and 20 male (Codes M1-M20) volunteers took part in a sample collection procedure. Each volunteer provided a sample at least ten times. Due to the maintenance of the machine, the dataset is further divided into 3 subgroups: System_1 (275 samples), System_2 (136 samples), and System_3 (93 samples). Each sample was processed in ChromaToF(version 4.72.0.0) by LECO corp. The processing step was executed at the signal-to-noise (SN) ratio levels 100, 300, and 500. In addition, the samples were also processed manually, in which 70 selected compounds in human scent chromatograms were monitored. Preprocessed samples were exported and stored in text files (.txt) with a tabulator as a separator. In addition, questionnaires were collected for each sample, in which the volunteers answered questions about sex, race, age, hair and eye color, height, weight, health status, menstrual cycle, medications, physical and mental status, etc.

The data collection was funded by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic projects No.VI20172020075, VH20182021030, and VJ01010123.
