In this talk, Johan Rooryck presents the various policies and tools that cOAlition S has put into place to ensure its main goal, i.e. to ensure that “With effect from 2021, all scholarly publications on the results from research funded by public or private grants provided by national, regional and international research councils and funding bodies, must be published in Open Access Journals, on Open Access Platforms, or made immediately available through Open Access Repositories without embargo.” Mr. Rooryck will discuss cOAlition S's Rights Retention Strategy, the Journal Checker Tool, our journal Comparison Service, and our efforts to align Diamond Open Access journals.
