El objetivo de esta contribución es presentar el modelo de publicación Peer Community In (PCI) (Guillemaud et al., 2019) (https:/ /peercommunityin.org/). PCI fue creado en el 2017 por Denis Bourguet, Benoit Facon y Thomas Guillemaud, científicos del INRAE (Instituto Nacional de Investigación para la Agricultura, la Alimentación y el Medio Ambiente de Francia). PCI es una iniciativa internacional sin ánimo de lucro, dirigida y gestionada por investigadores de comunidades científicas en diversas temáticas que cuenta con el apoyo de más de 50 universidades e institutos de investigación y 20 sociedades científicas. Las PCI temáticas se titulan Peer Community in X (e.g. Peer Community in Evolutionary Biology (PCI Evol Biol), PCI Animal Science).
