This dataset contains results and additional data related to the publication "Import options for chemical energy carriers from renewable sources to Germany". The data contained in the four archives is: 1. costs.zip: Technology specific input cost assumption 2. data.zip: Additional input data related to process and conversion efficiencies as well as shipping transport. 3. resources.zip: Intermediary files containing RES generation profiles (time-series), potentials and synthetic demand projections for the studied regions. 4. results.zip: Optimised energy system models (PyPSA networks, v0.17.1) for all scenarios (default 10% WACC, optimistic 5% WACC, sensitivity analysis), energy supply chains (ESCs) and exporting countries. For each network an additional results.csv exists containing a number of key results extracted from each network. In addition a combined results.csv file exists in each scenario folder (e.g. results/default/results.csv) containing the combined results from all simulations for this scenario.
