Abstract

A nivel Mundial los Sistemas de Indexación y Resumen – SIR – más reconocidos y multidisciplinares son DIALNET, DOAJ, Fuente Académica, Scopus, REDIB, Redalyc, Scielo [1] los cuales, de manera automática, mediante cosecha de metadatos, o manual, mediante la carga de la información por parte del equipo de las revistas en el portal del sistema, coadyuvando a visibilizar los trabajos publicados en estas publicaciones. Si bien, varios expertos llegan a criticar a algunos de estos sistemas (como Redalyc y Scielo) puesto que al incluir el contenido completo de las revistas – es decir, el texto completo- le hacen perder la identidad a las revistas, estos son de bastante utilidad para la difusión internacional de las publicaciones y, por ende, de sus contenidos.
