Background: Primary adenocarcinoma of the duodenum is a rare type of cancer. Objective: Case with diagnosis of duodenal adenocarcinoma managed with pancreatoduodenectomy, case report. Clinical Case: A 48-year-old male, who presented to the emergency department with symptoms of intestinal occlusion, was protocolized with panendoscopy, biopsies were taken, reporting a diagnosis of duodenal adenocarcinoma. The patient underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy. Discussion: Primary adenocarcinoma of the duodenum is a rare type of neoplasm, so its diagnosis and management are challenging; Due to this, it is important to identify the ideal management for this type of pathology.
