The article analyses the tradition and trends of the Georgian media text from the 19th century up to the modern days. The author provides detailed research on what makes a media text outstanding from the point of its construction and how the journalistic skills of Georgian authors have remained of high quality during the last two centuries, which were full of political turbulence for Georgia.
