This repository contains the **Craft Ontology (CrO)** developed in the [Mingei project](http://www.mingei-project.eu) to represent the knowledge collected about heritage crafts, including narratives collected about these crafts. CrO is provided as an [OWL](https://www.w3.org/OWL/) ontology using the [Turtle syntax](https://www.w3.org/TR/turtle/). CrO is an application ontology obtained by integrating several existing ontologies, notably: * [CIDOC CRM](http://www.cidoc-crm.org), a top ontology and an ISO standard forming the conceptual backbone of the CrO * [Narrative Ontology](http://dlnarratives.eu/ontology.html), a domain ontology focused on the representation of narratives * [FRBRoo](http://www.cidoc-crm.org/frbroo/home-0), a domain ontology for bibliographic records, resulting from the harmonization of FRBR with CRM * [OWL Time](https://www.w3.org/TR/owl-time/), a domain ontology recommended by W3C for the representation of time [OWL Time] * [Dublin Core](https://dublincore.org), for simple resource description Mingei has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 822336.
