
Genus Metacoryna Jacoby, 1888 Metacoryna Jacoby, 1888: 605 (type species Metacoryna fulvicollis Jacoby, 1888, by original designation). Cyphotarsis Jacoby, 1892: 339 (type species Cyphotarsis niger Jacoby, 1892, by monotypy). Remarks This genus contains eight described species. Numerous undescribed species also belong here (Clark 1987b). They occur in Mexico and Central America. See Figs 126 and 214 for a habitus illustration and morphological details.
