Abstract

Dating: The document is not dated, but the seal indicates it was written in 1255 (1839-40 CE) or sometime thereafter. Summary: This document, a Shajarah-i ṭariqat or Genealogical Tree, records the lineage of Sayyid 'Aḥmad Ḥasan Shāh Qādrī Rez̤avī (سید أحمد حسن شاہ قادری رضوی), opening with Bismillah (بسم الله) and an introduction (خطبة). The list traces his lineage to the Prophet Muḥammad (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ).
