Abstract

Sekeetamys calurus (Thomas, 1892). Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., 9:76. TYPE LOCALITY: Egypt, Sinai, near Tor. DISTRIBUTION: E. Egypt through the Sinai to Israel, Jordan, and C. Saudi Arabia. COMMENT: Includes makrami; see Petter, 1975, Part 6.3:4, and Harrison, 1972, The Mammals of Arabia, 3:596. Nader, 1974, Mammalia, 38:347-348, reported this species from Saudi Arabia. ISIS NUMBER: 5301410008097001001.
