FISIOTERAPIA PÉLVICA NO TRATAMENTO DO VAGINISMO EM VÍTIMAS DE VIOLÊNCIA SEXUAL

Abstract

O vaginismo é uma patologia que pode ser desenvolvida após um trauma, desencadeando gatilhos emocionais que afetam a qualidade de vida sexual de mulheres que passaram por abuso sexual. Essa patologia consiste em espasmos involuntários da musculatura pélvica presentes no terço externo da vagina associados ao medo e/ou a dor. A fisioterapia previne e trata limitações e deficiências físicas, restaura a função, a mobilidade e promove o alívio da dor. Objetivo: demonstrar a importância da fisioterapia no tratamento do vaginismo em mulheres vítimas de abuso sexual. Metodologia: É uma revisão de literatura, onde inicialmente foram encontrados 327 artigos na base de dados do Google Acadêmico, ao restringir a pesquisa para o período de 2017 a 2022 os resultados foram de 150 artigos, utilizando os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, foram selecionados 9 artigos com os descritores, fisioterapia, vaginismo e tratamento. Conclusão: Os fisioterapeutas são profissionais que estão preparados para atender mulheres com essa disfunção, pois através da avaliação e esclarecimento do tratamento é possível proporcionar a paciente o tratamento de educação comportamental, através do recurso da cinesioterapia é possível proporcionar o autoconhecimento diminuindo as dores pélvicas. Houve maior eficácia quando as técnicas foram combinadas, mostrando melhora na função sexual, com uso de técnicas analgésicas, exercícios de relaxamento dos músculos da MAP, dessensibilização local realizada com dilatador vaginal e terapia manual.
