Abstract

Este libro se compone de ocho capítulos con tareas/situaciones de modelación matemática. Sus autores son, sin excepción, profesores de los niveles de educación primaria, secundaria y universitaria. La mayoría tiene experiencia en investigación, bien sea por su formación en posgrado o por participar en proyectos, grupos de estudio y otras actividades que se realizan en el marco de la Red Colombiana de Modelación en Educación Matemática RECOMEM, o en el Grupo MATHEMA-FIEM de la Universidad de Antioquia. Por tanto, algunas de estas tareas han sido implementadas en establecimientos educativos. En cada capítulo se informa sobre las acciones que los profesores y los estudiantes emprendieron, y los posibles resultados de dicha intervención.
