FACTORES INFLUYENTES PARA RE INTERVENCIÓN QUIRÚRGICA EN PACIENTES SOMETIDOS A CIRUGÍA DESDE OCTUBRE DEL 2018 HASTA OCTUBRE DEL 2019 EN EL HOSPITAL DOCENTE DE CALDERÓN, QUITO-ECUADOR

Abstract

A pesar de la reciente innovación de los procedimientos quirúrgicos, las complicaciones y las re intervenciones son elevadas1, algunos factores que puede estar relacionado son el tipo de cirugía, el tiempo de duración, el uso de antibiótico, complejidad de la intervención, la edad y sexo del pacientes2, sin embargo estos no están bien definidos en la literatura. Objetivo: Determinar los factores influyentes para la re intervención quirúrgica en pacientes sometidos a cirugía desde octubre del 2018 hasta octubre del 2019 en el Hospital Docente De Calderón, Quito-Ecuador. Materiales y métodos: Investigación observacional, analítico, longitudinal y retrospectivo, se revisó las fichas clínicas de las re intervenciones quirúrgicas que constan en la base de datos de octubre de 2018 a octubre de 2019, se consideró factores sociodemográficos, hábitos tóxicos, profilaxis antibiótica, tipo de ingreso, patología quirúrgica, motivo, especialización de la re intervención, asepsia, tiempo de hospitalización, antibioticoterapia, complicaciones quirúrgica y clínicas. Los datos se analizaron con la prueba estadística Kruskal Wallis utilizando el SPSS V.24, con un nivel de confianza del 95%. Resultados: La mayoría de los pacientes re intervenidos fueron por motivo de limpieza quirúrgica (lavado de la cavidad abdominal) y fijación de fractura, además se determinó que las re intervenciones quirúrgicas se relacionan con el procedimiento, las especialidades, la antibioterapia, el tratamiento, los días de antibióticos y la edad (p<0,05). Conclusiones: Los factores influyentes para que un paciente sea re intervenido quirúrgicamente fue el tiempo quirúrgico, edad, tipo de ingreso, antibioterapia, motivación de re operación, el procedimiento las especialidades y el tiempo de hospitalización posterior a la re intervención quirúrgica.
