Published (original) locality: “in promontoriis Uralensibus australibus”. Lectotype: ♀, designated by Osytshnjuk et al. 2008: 153, Spask [Russia, Orenburg Prov., Spasskoe, 52°00′N 56°32′E] // Lectotypus Andrena florivaga Ev., design. Osychnjuk, 1980 // Zoological Institute St. Petersburg INS_HYM_0000272. Paralectotypes: 1 ♀, Spassk, Jun // florivaga Evm., ♀ [handwritten by E. Eversmann]; 2 ♀, Spassk // Paraectotypus Andrena florivaga Eversm., design. Osychnjuk, 1980 . Current status. Andrena (Lepidandrena) florivaga Eversmann, 1852. Remark. Description of male: Blüthgen 1914: 155, as Andrena molhusina Blüthgen, 1914 (synonymized by Warncke 1965: 245). Distribution. Europe, Russia (to Eastern Siberia), Turkey, Kazakhstan.According to Ascher & Pickering (2022) this species is also recorded from Iran.
