The subject of research theoretical aspects of one of the systemic factors of shadowing of social relations, primarily in the form of shadow «autonomous» power, based on the influence of modern neo–imperialism, which provides its pressure by means of parallel shadow pseudo–reality. The purpose of the study is to identify the essence of the influence of modern neo–imperialism on the formation and development of shadow «autonomous» power in the USSR, its specific means of neo–imperialist policy through the formation of parallel shadow pseudo–reality. Methods of research. The work used a set of scientific methods and approaches, including systemic, structural, functional, historical, logical, which allowed to ensure the conceptual unity of research on the historical conditions of the formation of shadow power. Results of the work. The article identifies methodological approaches to the study of the causes of systemic shadowing of social relations in dependent countries based on the development of shadow «autonomous» power as a subject of a powerful generation of systemic dependence on neo–imperialism. Application of results. The system of sciences from the family of branches of public administration, a wide range of methodological aspects of socio–economic, legal sciences on the problems of dysfunctional development of power. Conclusions. The results of the study, their theoretical results should be reduced to the following main conclusions: 1) the system of neo–imperialism in modern conditions is a powerful means of shadow pressure on the societies of dependent countries, their shadowing; 2) the formation of shadow «autonomous» power as a form of modern neo–imperialism is a means of total deformation of power and society in dependent countries; 3) the formation of shadow «autonomous» power in the USSR proved to be the most powerful factor in the further deep rift between the interests of power and society.
