This document is a “demonstration” deliverable that accompanies the video available on the project website. Its purpose is to demonstrate the capabilities of the guideline-based decision support technology implemented in the project. This mainly involves two CAPABLE components, the Physician Decision Support System (PDSS) and the goal-based inference component GoCom that detects and mitigates drug-drug interactions as well as interactions between guideline recommendations. Two demonstrations are presented. The main demonstration shows how PDSS and GoCom work together to provide guideline-based decision support with goal-based detection and resolution of drug interactions. This is presented as a video of the PDSS and GoCom logs during a simulated run of a clinical scenario, with a voice-over and a walk-through in this document explaining each step of the demonstration. A secondary demonstration covers the modes of interaction that have been developed between the Predictive Model Component (PMC) and PDSS, allowing machine-learning-based predictive analytics to be combined with guideline-based decision support and delivered to a physician at the point of care. This is an experimental feature which will not be used in the clinical pilot, thus its demonstration is more limited.
This deliverable is a part of a project receiving funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 875052
