Figure S9 Flagellin protein sequences exhibit dramatic variation in B. velezensis. The variation was mainly concentrated in the 170-293 sites region of flagellin sequences, which contained many large insertions and deletions. These sequences came from 190 B. velezensis strains in the NCBI database, their lengths were in the range of 276-384 amino acids and were aligned using the L-INS-I method of MAFFT (v7.487) and displayed using Jalview (v.2.11.1.5).
