This abstract and conference presentation outlined GERONTE's work in developing a novel framework to support the comprehensive and complex assessment needed when implementing complex and technology-supported interventions into healthcare. The GERONTE Complex InterventiOn using Technology (CLo-uT) will build on and synthesise across the relevant existing Implementation Science and Realist Research principles and ideas, and it will add key practical support and information identified from empirical analysis of implementation a complex technology-supported intervention in 16 diverse healthcare setting across 3 European countries as part of a large EU sponsored clinical trial. This framework, and its accompanying guides, will support the successful and sustained implementation of GERONTE intervention across diverse setting. This practical framework will also provide a guide to other clinicians and researcher as the use of complex and technology-supported intervention increases across many areas of healthcare.
