The Brain Dynamics Toolbox is an open software tool for simulating dynamical systems in matlab. It allows custom dynamical models to be explored in an intuitive graphical application while retaining the ability to script large-scale simulations. The toolbox can be applied to initial-value problems in systems of Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs), Delay Differential Equations (DDEs), Stochastic Differential Equations (SDEs) or Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). Installation Download bdtoolbox-2021a.zip from the link below. Unzip it into a directory of your choosing and then follow the instructions in the supplied README file. Requirements MATLAB 2020a or newer. Open-source License This software is freely available under a BSD license.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 3 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
