Ingeniería popular: una contribución a la resiliencia para la sostenibilidad en la costa caribe colombiana

Abstract

La ingeniería popular o vernácula, es considerada un método de construcción que potencialmente puede generar aportes positivos a la crisis ambiental, por tanto, el objetivo de este estudio procura explorar los beneficios de las acciones de este método, para generar resiliencia que contribuya a convertir los espacios urbanos y rurales de la costa caribeña colombiana en territorios sostenibles. Los resultados muestran las interrelaciones existentes entre los constructos de hábitats en base a ingeniería popular, con los sistemas socio ecológicos propios de la región del Caribe colombiano, donde los factores culturales, étnicos y bioclimáticos son de influencia determinante como característica para generar resiliencia en pro de la sostenibilidad. La metodología empleada es la investigación cualitativa-fenomenológica, a partir del análisis de documentos desde un enfoque hermenéutico de los referentes teóricos indizados en la base de datos Scopus-Elsevier, así como investigaciones arbitradas en otras plataformas de almacenamiento de literatura.
