Avaliação de Amortecimento Estrutural Usando-se o Método do"Random Decrement"

Abstract

Este trabalho trata da avaliação do amortecimento estrutural através do método do “RandomDecrement”. Inicialmente revisa-se o método e o algoritmo utilizado para a análise dos dados. Emseguida realiza-se a comparação experimental dos resultados obtidos através do método propostocom os de outros dois métodos, o do Decremento Logarítmico e da Largura de Banda em MeiaPotência, em ensaios realizados para a determinação de razão de amortecimento de uma dada estruturapadrão. Os ensaios são realizados seguindo as exigências de cada método, porém, para o “RandomDecrement”, são impostas vibrações aleatórias diferentes para cada ensaio com o intuito de verificara robstez do método. Ao final, os resultados são comparados e verifica-se que o método do RandomDecrement fornece valores aceitáveis para a razão de amortecimento da estrutura, mostrando-se umótimo recurso para a realização de análises de vibração quando não há possibilidade de se retirar aestrutura do serviço para que testes de vibração livre possam ser realizados
