Abstract

Agonocryptus tricolor Gupta, 1982 (Figs 14A–E, 20F) Agonocryptus tricolor Gupta, 1982. Original description, male and female, keyed, map. Agonocryptus tricolor: Yu et al., 2006. Catalog. Variation. Yellow mark on pronotal collar medially narrowed but not interrupted (Fig. 14B) (vs. interrupted, forming two marks); propleuron almost entirely yellow (vs. apically yellow); speculum dorsally with small yellow spot (Fig. 14B) (vs. black); second recurrent vein meeting areolet beyond middle (vs. at middle); hind t4 almost entirely blackish (vs. yellowish); T1 blackish, apically yellow (Figs 14D–E) (vs. yellow basally and apically, medially black); tip of metasoma reddish brown (vs. black); T2 apically with a faint yellowish stripe (Fig. 14C) (vs. entirely reddish brown). Specimen FAS394, from southeastern Brazil, with pronotal collar ventrally with yellow spot (vs. with two yellow marks); fore and mid tibiae dorsally brownish (vs. entirely yellow); areolet about as long as high (vs. much wider than high); hind femur dorsally and ventrally with brown stripe (vs. entirely reddish brown); basal area of propodeum black, without yellow marks (vs. with two oval yellow marks); T1 basally black (vs. yellow); T2 antero laterally with black mark (Figs 14D–E) (vs. entirely reddish brown).
