Scripts and data for generating the figures in our "Flare Kernels May Be Smaller Than You Think" paper, including the tonemapping step applied to the colour-compressed plots, which may be a little difficult to reproduce otherwise. As the vertical radiation can be relatively slow to compute, the Ivert pickles are provided. The .zip files are bundled zarr data. The two notebooks require an environment configured with Lightweaver (v0.7+). IvertOldSynth produces all of the figures presented in the paper (plus some intermediate steps), the plotting is undocumented but can be worked through if necessary, IvertOldSynthZa produces variants of these plots showing the contribution function weighted line formation height (z_a) which were ultimately not used in the paper but may be of use. Further data from my Thesis distribution may also be needed to reproduce all analysis steps.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
