Here are the modified shoc.F90 and shoc_intr.F90 in addition to the mass_flux.F90 code used for the paper entitled "Improving the representation of shallow cumulus convection with the Simplified Higher-Order Closure Mass-Flux (SHOC+MF v1.0) approach" submitted to Geoscientific Model Development. Note that the SCREAM model code used in this study is located at https://github.com/E3SM-Project/scream/releases/tag/dyamond2-try1. The scripts and respective IOP files used to generate the Single-Column Model simulations shown in the paper are also included here: run_e3sm_scm_BOMEX.csh and run_e3sm_scm_ARM_shallow.csh. To run SCREAM with SHOC+MF, replace shoc.F90 and shoc_intr.F90 with these modified versions and add mass_flux.F90 to the same directory. Lastly, replace namelist_definition.xml and namelist_defaults_cam.xml with the updated versions provided here which contain the SHOC+MF namelist options. For any questions or troubleshooting related to SHOC+MF, please contact mariachinita@jpl.nasa.gov.
