Desde el surgimiento del ser humano hasta nuestros días, se ha registrado en la historia del hombre, un desarrollo evolutivo; este ha sido tanto físico, como social, cultural, etc. que ha llegado hasta nuestros días a expresarse y tomar forma de ciencia, tecnología y conocimiento. Esto quiere decir que actualmente, el hombre ya no se adapta a su ambiente por medio de una evolución biológica, sino a través de la llamada evolución sociocultural, este concepto nos lleva a preguntarnos entonces, si la única parte de nuestro cuerpo que sigue teniendo tal evolución es nuestro cerebro, y si es así, ¿lo está haciendo por medio del avance tecnológico? Este ensayo expone dos supuestos que diversos estudiosos en el campo de la tecnología y neurociencia sostienen acerca de este hecho.
