ABSTRACT In this study, research was done on the influence of adding the Titanium particles with nano-size on electrooptical characteristics of polymeric liquid crystals polysiloxane with a side chain. Various weight of molecular ranges was used between molecular weight (3.1×103 – 1.7×106) and added to Titanium nanoparticles in the rate of (0.01) for the same for all weights. When shining a voltage to the polymer chain and under various transition metaphase degrees, the threshold voltage and the operating voltage increase with increasing molecular weight. The responding times (switching time τon and τoff respectively) have been measured under the electrical field impact. It was found that by adding Titanium nanoparticles, the phase transfer degrees decrease the optical responding times. Infrared dichroism requirements have been used to identify the crystalline liquid side polymers' chains orientation order variables. By recognizing individual bonds (stretching C≡N) in the infrared spectrum absorption, it is found that the orientational order depends on the temperature (Temp) with different molecular weights. It was found that the adding of Titanium nanoparticles lead to an increase of mesogenic group density, which is attached to the polymer chain, and that is lead to an increase of contribution bi permanent polar moment in cyano _groub which is parallel to the long axes of molecular for the unit of mesogenic, which effect to increase dielectric anisotropic (∆Ԑ).
