Zodarion epirense Brignoli 1984

Abstract

Zodarion epirense Brignoli, 1984 Recently reported from Bulgaria: Slavyanka Mts (Lazarov 2005: 150), Maleshevska Mt. (Lazarov 2007: 140) and Samokov Plain (Kalushkov et al. 2008: 66). The reviewed materials (see also under Z. emilijae sp. n. and Z. zorba) reveal that these records refer to Z. blagoevi (in Lazarov 2005) and Z. zorba (in Kalushkov et al. 2008). The material from Maleshevska Mt. (Lazarov 2007) cannot be checked (probably lost) and is doubtful. Therefore, we remove Z. epirense from the Bulgarian checklist.
