Abstract

Jute a natural fibre is an emerging geotextile. Useful for construction of roads. and river embankments .The. author wishes to draw attention to soil pollution by construction of roads. Air pollution increases due to traffic .On the other hand geatextiles prepared from natural fibre like coconut husk and jute help to protect the ecosystem from soil erosion
