Janák lgt. (JJRC); Western Cape: 2 ♂: Wilderness section of Garden Route NP, 33°59.1’S, 22°39.0’E, Duiwerivier, stream banks, treading, 23.ii.2014, J. Janák lgt. (JJRC). Distribution. The species was described from Egypt and is distributed in Syria, Yemen and in Africa South of Sahara in Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia, Angola, Zimbabwe, and South Africa (Eastern Cape: first record, Western Cape).
