Abstract

Resumo: A referida pesquisa discute a utilização do espaço amazônico como recurso que pode auxiliar os alunos do ensino básico a compreender a complexidade amazônica utilizando elementos do laboratório aberto que é a Floresta Amazônica. Partindo do pressuposto de que o Ensino de Ciências ainda é clássico, que o principal objeto didático utilizado no aprendizado é o livro e aulas expositivas, considera-se relevante a discussão das possibilidades de utilização do espaço como ambiente prático para o ensino e incentivo na Iniciação Científica dos alunos para a utilização de espaços externos à sala de aula como veículos promotores da aprendizagem e de sensibilização para o uso sustentável e conservação dos recursos naturais da Amazônia, por meio do ensino de Ciências Naturais.
