Elektronische Laborbücher - eine Einführung am Beispiel eLabFTW

Abstract

Laborbücher gehören zum Forschungsalltag: Hier landen unter Anderem Messergebnisse, Skizzen von Versuchsaufbauten, Beobachtungen oder Auswertungen. Was aber wenn diese Daten immer häufiger digital sind? Sollten diese ausgedruckt und eingeklebt werden - oder gibt es eine bessere Lösung? An dieser Stelle setzen elektronische Laborbücher (ELNs) an. Am Beispiel von elabFTW geht es darum, wie ELNs das klassische Papier-Laborbuch ersetzen können und welche darüber hinausgehende Möglichkeiten diese bieten. Die HeFDI Data Talks sind eine zweiwöchentliche offene Informations- und Diskussionsveranstaltung. Jeden zweiten Freitag stellen wir Ihnen Angebote und Services zu Datenmanagement vor und diskutieren aktuelle Themen und Angebote, inklusive denjenigen der Nationalen Forschungsdateninfrastruktur (NFDI). Aber gerade auch lokale und regionale Angebote sowie allgemeine Information und Diskussion zum Datenmanagement greifen wir in den Data Talks auf.
