Abstract

Mısır, tane ve kesif yem olarak kullanıldığı gibi silaj yapılarak da kullanılan önemli bir tahıldır. Ekim zamanı hem tane verimini hem de silaj verimini etkileyen kriterlerin başında gelmektedir. Halk arasında etkili bir inanış olan ayın durumuna göre ekim yapmak üzerine yürütlen çalışmada 3 farklı silajlık mısır çeşidi kullanılmıştır. Yeni ay ve eski ay olmak üzere iki farklı ekim zamanında kurulan denemede tepe püskülü çıkış süresi, bitki boyu, yeşil ot verimi, kuru madde verimi, silaj kuru madde oranı, silaj pH’ı ve sap, yaprak ve koçan oranları incelenmiştir. 2015 yılında Kahramanmaraş koşullarında yürütülen çalışma sonucunda bitki boyunun, kuru madde veriminin ve tepe püskülü çıkış süresinin ekim zamanlarından etkilendiği belirlenmiştir. Yeşil ot veriminde ise çeşit farklılığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda erkencilik bakımından eski ay döneminde, kuru madde veriminin arttırılması bakımından ise yeni ay döneminde ekim yapılması önerilebilir.
