Abstract

Children of today are the future citizens of tomorrow. Children are the important assets of the society. Every child has the right to enjoy his childhood. They have the right to education, recreation and development of their personality. But it is harsh reality that in many countries of the world, children are denied their physical, mental and psychological development. In the global society approximately out of 153 crore children about 25 crore are 'Child Labour'. Child labour problem is universal one. This practice has been vogue since long in India. In rural areas child labour is being used in agriculture and other household works. With industrialization they are employed in hazardous occupations.
