Micro-Credentials und Micro-Degrees. Aktuelle Entwicklungen und Perspektiven aus der Praxis des KI-Campus

Abstract

Micro-Credentials und Micro-Degrees werden in Bildungspolitik und -praxis zunehmend als flexible und innovative Qualifizierungsform diskutiert. Das Diskussionspapier skizziert den Status Quo nationaler, europäischer und internationaler Aktivitäten zu Micro-Credentials und Micro-Degrees auf digitalen Lernplattformen, im hochschulischen wie beruflichen Bildungsbereich. Am Anwendungsfall KI-Campus – Die Lernplattform für Künstliche Intelligenz werden aktuelle Entwicklungen und Perspektiven aus der Praxis präsentiert. Zentral sind dabei die Vorstellung einer Arbeitsdefinition zu Micro-Credentials und Micro-Degrees unter Berücksichtigung des gegenwärtigen wissenschaftlichen Diskurses sowie die Darstellung von zwei geplanten Micro-Degree-Programmen des KI-Campus. Abschließend erfolgt ein Ausblick auf die angestrebten Vorhaben des KI-Campus, mit welchen Mico-Degrees vorangetrieben und mitgestaltet werden sollen. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf der deutschen Hochschullandschaft. Der KI-Campus ist ein vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) gefördertes F&E-Projekt. Der KI-Campus ist seit Juli 2020 als Beta-Version öffentlich verfügbar und wird kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt: www.ki-campus.org
