A Importância da Experimentação no Ensino de Química

Abstract

O presente trabalho visa apresentar a importância do uso de laboratório didático para o aprendizado dos alunos na disciplina de química, no ensino médio, através da proposta de uma reformulação das práticas pedagógicas escolares. Isso porque entendemos ser necessário que a atenção dos alunos se volte para a ciência, despertando sua curiosidade através da experimentação científica. Para tanto, buscamos desenvolver atividades experimentais em laboratório com o objetivo de auxiliar o aprendizado dos alunos. Nossa pesquisa foi realizada na escola Estadual Liceu Nóbrega de Artes e Ofícios de Pernambuco, localizada no bairro do Recife, Pernambuco, com aproximadamente 30 alunos do 1º ano do Ensino Médio, orientando-nos também pelos aportes teóricos do que propõe Gioppo, Scheffer e Neves (1999) entre outros. Sob uma abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, nossos resultados e os dados foram obtidos através de formulários gerados pela plataforma virtual Google. Observa-se que a maioria dos alunos tinham dificuldade em aprender a disciplina pela dificuldade em decorar fórmulas, e após a atividade realizada verificou-se resultados favoráveis, sendo possível constatar que a aprendizagem dos alunos se tornou mais significativa com o auxílio do laboratório.
