Three different remote workshop experiences are detailed in this article. We used smartphones as a medium to capture images and interviews with a cinematographic/documentary language. We attempted a reinterpretation of the smartphone in a creative key, a possible reversal of judgement within the training processes: from a tool of distraction to a tool of attention. Between narration of experiences and hypotheses for future applications, we finally suggest practices to support a possible replicability.
