Cephalophylloptera spinulosa (Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1891) Fig. 19A Distribution: Argentina: Misiones; Brazil: Goiás, Paraná, São Paulo; Paraguai: Paraguari. New record for the Paraná State. Comments: This is a polymorphic species mostly collected in light traps. The species exhibits sexual dimorphism in the coloration of forewings, as males bear distinct black spots on this structure, while females don’t. Additionally, such morphological pattern must be carefully studied to ensure the specific identity of males and females, as the occurrence of a species complex cannot be completely dismissed. Bioacoustics: Sound not recorded.
