Adverse Outcome Pathways (AOPs) are a useful framework for organizing and presenting scientific data related to toxicological processes. The aim of the training session was to introduce the AOP framework to researchers new to the concept and to provide a small guide and some pointers for the construction of new AOPs. The training session consisted of two main parts. Part 1 consisted of a general introduction to AOPs and an example of the process of turning real research into an AOP. Part 2 focused on the AOPwiki, with a tour of the website and then a more formal introduction to the submission process. Handouts of the submission form was distributed among the participants.
